I wish I could explain what this hot mess that I threw up is, but like I enjoy doing with certain songs, I'd rather have people make their own story or apply their own meaning -- especially since this isn't at all what I originally planned. After hearing from a few friends who were going through tough times and learning of a fellow brony who was kicked out of his home for liking ponies, I just wanted to draw something for all those people who feel out of place or are going through a rough patch in their lives. I know the style and content are cheesy and clichéd, and I apologize.

_{I was originally going to draw a person, then a generic pony, but Ditzy Doo/Derpy Hooves came about and she is kind of the fandom mascot. It's like I see her and read all the fandom stories, and I can relate! Despite what some people say, despite her klutziness, she still carries on with a smile and that adorable wall-eyed expression. I admire that about her, and I admire that about many of you.

And ha! For once, I left off the cutie mark intentionally instead of by accident like I usually do. The reason is because before I started reading Ditzy Derp fan fiction and fan comics, I imagined that she could have been an older blank flank -- because I love the idea of adult blank flanks? Hey, adults can feel lost too! -- and I had it in my mind that she got her cutie mark, not necessarily because she found her one special talent, but because she found the one place where she truly belonged.

Ahaha, but that's me being silly and that doesn't necessarily apply to this comic. She could just be lost here because she's a silly pony!

Oh, and those are special bubbles. They survived the rain for a reason. Perhaps Celestia enchanted them? =] Maybe they're more spiritually symbolic/metaphorical? Who knows. That's up to you. I don't know squat, and it's always far more fascinating to hear other people's interpretations and ideas. X]}

Thanks to everyone who came by so late and sacrificed sleep to drop by the stream! I'm sorry I was working so slowly and had to cut it off because of my headache.
